Heartbreaking Bus Accident Takes 14 Lives

Photo via Humboldt Broncos Twitter accountFriday evening, a bus carrying a junior hockey team collided with a tractor-trailer in Saskatchewan. To date, reports indicate that 14 people from the bus were killed and the remaining 14 passengers were injured. There are passengers described as critically injured amongst the survivors. The town of Humboldt has a long history of putting teams on the ice for the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

News stories indicate that the bus carrying the players ranging in age from 16 — 21 years old was t-boned by the semi about 18 miles north of Tisdale.
